Our Queen and Vice-Queen

Our Queen Mum is Mrs. Barbi Rebelo (Queen B)
Our Vice-Queen is Mrs. Sheryl Iovanna (Baroness
of Beacons)
Our Queen Mum Barbi Rebelo is a stay at home daughter
who takes care of her parents going on one year. Queen 'B' is a mommy to an 11 year old male doxie (Oscar-Mayer)
and a wife of 11 years to Joe. She enjoy helping others, meeting new people, shopping, tv, travel, movies and Spring
and Fall. We are very proud to say that not only is she Queen material but also calendar girl material also. Barbi is Ms.
August in the T.E.A. Calendar, which is still being sold at Flower Gallery here in Manassas. This calendar is being sold to
raise money for charity.
Our Vice-Queen, Sheryl, has been married to Joe for 30 years and has one daughter,
Jackie, that lives in Florida. Her Mom, "Sam," has lived with them for the last 20 years. It was just about Jan or Feb of this year that she joined the TEAbells. Having just moved
here in Sept of '03 from Upstate New York, she wasn't working anymore so needed a way to meet new people.
It has to be the best thing she has done in years. Barbi made her
feel welcomed right from the get-go. Sheryl has met many terrific people and looks forward to lots of future TEAbell
functions. She chose her nickname (Baroness of Beacons) because she is a true Lighthouse Wacko and has clocked
many miles and hours hunting them all over. Her goal this year is to get her 89 year old Mother to join so she
can see what all the fuss is about Now as Vice-Queen she hopes she can help Queen "B" keep the Chapter hoppin!

The TEAbell's Humble Beginnings....
From Queen Barbi Rebelo
About
how I started the chapter. The Teabells have 35 members, 10 of which are Pink Hatters (ladies under the age of 50).
July this year the chapter will be two years old. My birthday is July 5th..and I wanted to enjoy tea with family, friends
at the Victoria Tea Room in Old Town Manassas - When my friend who is now part of our chapter and also belongs to two other
chapters, was explaining to me (in detail) about the Red Hat Society. I'm not one to say "NO," when I heard how much fun the
gals had...I said why not start my own chapter. I must confess that oringial I was only taking pink hatters..then I thought
how selfish of me...we could all have fun, regards of our age.

History of the Red Hat Club
"The Red Hat Society began as a result of a few women deciding to greet middle age with verve, humor
and elan. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life, and since we are all in it together, we might as well join red-gloved
hands and go for the gusto together. Underneath the frivolity, we share a bond of affection, forged by common life experiences
and a genuine enthusiasm for wherever life takes us next."
Sue Ellen Cooper, Queen Mother
Please visit the Red Hat website for more information or a chapter near you if you are not near us.
Come have some fun no matter your age.
